The Young Militant End-time Army: Their Exploits

THE YOUNG MILITANT END-TIME ARMY: THEIR EXPLOITS (Heb. 11:1-35The vision and mission of this end-time army as has been discussed is thrilling and carrying along with it great challenges. It is such that has surprises attached to it because of the results proceeding from it – great exploits. We saw that part of the make-up of the said army is the young because God would want to use the debased things, the foolish to confound the wise and to bestow His great treasures in earthen vessels so that all glory will be His. This is the reason the outings, projects, adventures, combats of this end-time army is a and will be marked with unimaginable exploits. The activities of the adversary on realizing the shortness of time has become technical and intense. In fact it is a kind of spiritual surge of evil and oppression. The Lord is therefore set not only to resist them but to subdue and reign through his young militant end-time soldiers. Let’s now take a look at the some of the exploits they are to get into.

Subdue Kingdoms (Heb. 11:33)

The children of God has various kingdoms to subdue before possessing of the promised land. These include Spiritual and Physical kingdoms standing on the way to their blessings and their mission of delivering the prey of the terrible and captives of the mighty from their oppressors and bringing them eventually to the kingdom of God. All youthful exuberances, peer pressures, ungodly influences, seductions, temptations, worldliness, enticements and entanglements must be subdued (Eph. 6:10-13; cons. Rom. 1:18-32; 2Tim. 3:1-8). They are all proceeding from the kingdom of darkness, including errors and false teachings, false assurances and hope given to the youths of this end-time (Jer. 6:13-14; 28:15). Through valiance, strength of the Lord, faith and the Spirit of God, these unapproved kingdoms must come down. The Israelites subdued kings and kingdoms on the way to the Canaan land (Josh. 12). David did same (2Sam. 8). The young militant end-time army is expected to do much more against the geometrically increasing evil kings and evil kingdoms.

Produce Righteousness (Heb. 11:33)

In the teaching on the weapons of the young militant end-time army, we saw righteousness as an inevitable weapon in this battle. One of the aspects of the mission of the army is to maintain a daily right-living, and through the righteousness of Christ in them challenge others to right-living and ignite righteousness in them (1Jn. 5:18-19) thereby saving them from hell (cons. 1Tim. 4:12; Tit. 2:7-8). Through the word of God, faith in Him, and watching His words, action, reaction, company, etc righteousness is maintained and the kingdom of God enlarged (Rom. 1:16-17).

Obtain Promises (Heb. 11:13)

Several promises scattered all through the Bible, made to the Christian youth and specific ones made directly or indirectly to the Watchman youths, are yet to be realised …Greater works than these shall he do… (Jn. 14:12-14); promising of bringing us to that for which He has called us and that without measure; promises of realising the fulfilment of the five-fold vision, the three fold end-time project, the eleventh hour business are exploits the end-time army must obtain. Such exploits as Noah realizing the promise of replenishing the earth (Gen. 8:1-2,20-22; 9:1); Abraham having Isaac (Gen. 21:1-3); Jacob being led, substained and blessed by God (Gen. 28:12-15; 31:36,41) and children of Israel being delivered out of Egypt (Ex. 3:7-10) were all obtained by the people of old. The army of the Lord are to obtain much more as the same Lord is there to make the promises hold (Heb. 13:8).

Stop the Mouths of Lions (Heb. 11:33)

Though righteousness and faith, the army of this end-time that the Lord is raising has the duty to stop the mouth of hungry lions. These lions include the natural lions (as Daniel encountered in the lions’ den) (Dan. 6:1-23); the human lions (human having such wicked hearts as natural lions ) (Acts 19:28-31; 23:12-13); and the spiritual lions (the devils) whose chief is Satan ( 1Pt. 5:8; Jn. 10:12). The Watchman youth is expected to stop them no matter the level they are operating from in this last days of increased influences from the wicked one. They must be paralysed. Remember you have great weapons for these exploits.

Quench the violence of fire (Heb. 11:34)

Clearly, the devils are surging like flood, bringing the fire, raising the violent winds but the Lord’s army, young and militant are out to quench their violence and silence their actions and come out unhurt and without smell of fire (Dan. 3:1-26). It could be literal fire or flood or spiritual fire of afflictions, persecution, lack in their lives or that of others. They must be stopped through righteousness and faith (cons. Isa. 43:1-2; Ps. 91).

Escape the edge of the sword (Heb. 11:34)

The sword of Pharaoh, Herod and Goliath are dangling on daily basis over against the Christian youth but like Moses, Jesus and David escaped them so is the army being raised expected to escape. (Exo. 18:1-4; Matt. 2:13-15; 1 Sam. 17). Sophisticated arrows of the enemy in form of dreams, influences, human machinations and programmes being shot must be escaped with the weapons provided (the word of God, faith, word of our testimony and the blood of Jesus) (Eph. 6:16; Rev. 12:11; Prov. 18:10).

Strength out of weakness (Heb. 11:34, 11-12)

Experiences of physical and spiritual weaknesses and even deadness can be revised as the army of the Lord move into such cases. They have the weapon of faith and the word of God that creates and recreates to do so in their lives and in that of others thereby turning weaklings and feebles into giants and quickening the dead physical members to produce life and bear fruits. (Ezek. 37:1-7; Mk. 8:23). Sarah and Abraham experienced this (Rom. 4:18-21).

Wax valiant in fight (Heb. 11:34)

Every army is engaged in battle, the Christian army much more though not a physical battle (Eph. 6:12) but one to retain their faith in the Lord and their righteousness, to overcome persecutions, oppressions, dangers, perils, temptations and enticement and advances against youths (cons. 2 Cor. 11:24-27). It is expected that as Gideon and his men wax valiant so, should the army being raised wax valiant and much more because of the greater and stronger weapons at their disposal.

Turn to flight the alien armies (Heb. 11:34)

Many alien army today has constituted themselves gods and put multitudes including Christians into bondages and caves (to hide) but the army of the Lord, the young militant end-time army must send them packing from homes, lives, etc. These alien army of today include witches sorcerers, occultist, fraternities in schools, as well as other agents of the devils and the devils who have made children and youths their comfortable dwelling places. (James 4:7; Eph. 6:11). David in his time and at various places pursued them and even took their spoils. It is believed that no volunteer into this army has anything to do with them, but of there by then, such must reject and renounce them so as to stand against them.

The devil and his human agents have before now had their field day but the battle line is drawn, the above exploits and much more in the favor of the Lord’s army is such that can not be rested or overcome. God, the mighty warrior is solidly behind His team. Right now it is expected that you get to the front of the battle and conquer and bring testimonies.
